Seven steps from concept to shelf
At KCM Pharma a cosmetic product is made in seven steps: brief and feasibility, formulation development, sampling and revision, stability and safety testing, registration and notification, series production and filling, quality control and dispatch. With an existing formula the process typically runs 8–12 weeks; developed from scratch, 4–6 months.

Brief & feasibility
We align on concept, audience, target shelf price and volume. The technical team returns a feasibility read.

Formulation development
R&D develops the formula — or adapts an existing one — to the target efficacy, texture and ingredient profile.

Sample & revision
A lab sample is produced, evaluated and revised until it is signed off.

Stability & safety testing
Stability, microbiology and packaging compatibility testing; the product safety report is prepared.
Duration4–12 weeks - 05
Registration & notification
Ministry notification, ÜTS registration, responsible person assignment and all required filings are completed.
Duration2–4 weeks - 06
Production & filling
The approved formula goes into series production under GMP conditions, then filling and packaging.

Quality control & dispatch
Batch quality control, certificate of analysis and dispatch — including export documentation where needed.
Duration3–7 days
Durations are typical. Formula complexity, packaging lead times and test outcomes all affect the calendar. Stability testing is the biggest single driver of the timeline in most projects.
